How We Work
At Herne Bay Domestics we do more than just deliver appliances. Our very own dedicated fleet travel across the whole of Kent in order to provide the most seamless delivery service possible.
To achieve a quick and efficient delivery service, we will:
- Deliver for FREE across KentOur delivery service does not cost a penny to drop off your appliance to your home and place in a room of your choice.
- Work as a TeamOur two-man team will work together to ensure your appliance gets delivered safely.
- Provide a 30-minute Courtesy CallExpect a friendly heads-up at least 30 minutes before we reach your door.
Our free delivery service doesn’t include the removal and unwrapping of packaging, but for a small fee of £6.99 we’ll take care of that for you too.
Arranging A Delivery
Need your appliance fast? No problem, if your appliance is in stock with us you are just a click away from next day delivery (subject to availability). If you need to cancel or reschedule a delivery, just give us a call or drop us an email to re-arrange, we’re always happy to help.
Our Delivery Options:
- Hassle-Free InstallationOur two-man delivery teams install appliances across the whole of Kent (prices vary by appliance).
- Eco-friendly Unwrap & Recyle PackagingWe’ll remove and recycle your packaging for a small fee of £6.99 (included with our installation service).
- Take AwayOut with the old and in with the new! We’ll take your old machine off your hands for £20.00.
- Refrigeration Door ReversalNeed your fridge door reversed? We’ve got you covered for an extra £25.00 (applicable to all refrigeration models except American Fridge Freezers).
Our Delivery Timeslots:
- Our Delivery HoursOur delivery vans are on the road from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday, to work around your busy schedule.
- Scheduled for your ConvenienceNo more waiting in all day, we offer an all-day slot, but we’ll send you an SMS with a 3-hour delivery window between 4pm-6pm the day before. However, sometimes life throws those curveballs such as bad traffic, so we really appreciate your flexibility on your selected delivery day!

- We Offer A Convenient Collection ServiceUse our collection option for an instant pick-up from our Manston warehouse or Herne Bay showroom.
- Check Stock Availability OnlineAvailability varies on selected models, so make sure to check our product pages for a clear ‘Collection’ purchase link.
- Pay Online Before You CollectWe will only allow you to collect your item if you have paid online prior to collection (our collection service is not available for orders paid via any of our finance options).
- Same Day Collection AvailableIf your order by 1pm Monday – Friday we offer you same day collection. Alternatively, you can collect your items at any time between 9am-5pm any other day Monday – Friday.
- Where To Find UsFor large appliances our collection point is based at our warehouse in Manston Business Park, and all small appliances are situated in our Herne Bay showroom on the high street. But don’t worry, we’ll send you all the details in our confirmation email.
